Hi, I’m Kayla Nelson. I am an Architectural Designer and Creative Thinker.
As an Architectural Designer since 2015, I have helped my clients achieve their visions for their businesses, restaurants, retail stores, and homes. I have spent the majority of my career in architectural design for the food and beverage and specialty retail industries, designing and managing design processes across the world. Since experiencing the pandemic of Covid-19 I realized that our perspective of our homes has changed which inspired to redirect my career on the residential industry and establishing my own business, Kayla Nelson Designs LLC.
With a background in industrial design, I have developed a consumer-centric approach which has helped guide me through the design process to evaluate trends and to target areas of opportunity. As times change, I have focused my design methods on the use of Virtual Reality and 3D renderings which have allowed my clients to visualize their home or business in 3D before making any major commitments. I challenge what is expected to create environments that excite and inspire the people who experience them.
